The City of Edmonton is investing in one of our greatest natural resources: the river valley. Development is finally complete and the Funicular is now open for riders!

While it makes for great Instagram shots, the new funicular is only one piece of a much larger Edmonton project designed to enhance our stunning river valley! The city is investing in additional ways to make for easier access to the river valley, such as upgrading trails and new boat launches.
